Welcome aboard. It's a great league, although historically tough to rebuild in. On the plus side, 4 monsters from the West moved on to A8 this season.
Good luck!

Welcome. You're joining a great league, even post-realignment.

I'm brand new at owning, and I am having a LOT of trouble recruiting players. Tried the marketplace, the forums, but having no luck. Any advice? Thanks!

Just stick with it. The people who are willing to sign with you now, are more likely to stay with you later. Just get a good core of guys, keep at it, and don't let those endless rejections get you down. Welcome to the league.

Honestly, the best advice is to just keep at it. Recruiting, especially during the offseason, is hellacious at best. I've a few slots that I've spent more hours than I care to count trying to fill, and still don't have them all covered.

The best thing you can do for your team is focus on the stadium build. Without adequate income in later seasons, it won't matter who you recruit, as you won't be able to afford them. The GLB Wiki page has a lot of good info if you're just starting out.

Thanks. Had some great info on ticket prices and concession. My stadium has no end zone and corner seating. Will take care of that.

Stadiums start out with only the 100 level sidelines, and those aren't complete.

*BUT*

Pay attention to your finances. Read the part about what happens if you run out of money mid-season and can't pay your players (they can cut themselves). The stadium is important, but all things in moderation!
