Just wondered if anyone has made a corner specifically for the nickelback position. How well did it work? what should be his key attributes?

Nickelbacks are typically normal CBs that just arnt as good as the first 2. Namely, they tend to be older players that have good vision and agility but are starting to slow down in the speed area.

But seeing as how most offenses in GLB put a speed WR in the 3rd WR spot, I wouldn't go with a typical Nickel back build.

Personally, i find it best to put the 2nd best CB on the defense as the nickel to counter any exploit looking to be had by putting a great WR at the 3 spot.

Obviously this tends to differ depending on the opponent and there type of offense.

Thats not always the case, in the nfl some teams put the corner that is better suited to help stop the run there
