I said it wasn't THAT impressive, the "THAT" referring to what jprietman was talking about. His numbers are respectable, even impressive, I'll agree (the 42-5 ratio is a good point), but they are not AS impressive as jpreitman was making them out to be.

And as for your other point, I disagree that someone has to have a super player before he can comment on the performance of others. I didn't have a good statistical year last season, I'll agree....but it's hard to get stats when your splitting time 50/50 and the front 7 are as badass as ours were last season. And on top of that, football is a team sport there, champion.....every team needs role players.

I heard he's going back to playing backup, as soon as he recovers from that mean block the lvl 1 receiver made.

Lol....I actually was benched because of that.

I only finally made it back into the starting lineup this season after numerous sexual favors.

And also....I'd like to point out, 5 other guys were blocked by that lvl 1 on that play. (yea.....I'm throwing my teammates under the bus here....well, not really throwing them.....more like pulling them with me).

Gonna use our intro thread as a recruiting tool... because we aren't having much success as of yet.

The Pats are looking for the following starters...

RB: A elusive RB, expect a rotation and 50/50 carries per game.

DE: A pass rushing defensive end, to start at right defensive end.

and the following backups...

WR: Need a 5th wide receiver to be used in a rotation and provide depth, could be a specialised kick/punt returner.

C and RT: Need a pair of offensive linemen, a center and right tackle, to provide depth.

CB: Looking for a pair of cornerbacks for 4th and 5th on the depth chart, with the possibility to start or be part of a rotation. Again, 5th cornerback could be a specialised kick/punt returner.

SS: Need a good SS to be part of a rotation at SS.

As mentioned we are also looking at a specialist kick/punt returner.

So if you have any players that fit the bill please get in touch!

But you talk others down like you're a star. It's like J.T. O'Sullivan calling out Trent Edwards...he can't he's just not good enough.

I would settle for 0 tackles every year as a SS in this game. It means the front 7 are stopping the run and passes aren't getting thrown to my side of the field. SS's and FS's that brag about 100+ tackles are retards.

Kinda agree, but it depends entirely on the team though.

London Monarchs starting SS spent 75% of last season in Cover 1 Run support, and finished with 70+ Tackles, 4 Sacks and 2 Safeties.

We ran a 3-4 Cover 1 and alternated between dropping a LB, Blitzing a LB or playing all of them in zone and blitzing the SS

The rest of the time he was double teaming and didnt get thrown at much.

Only had 1 PD in the regular season to 70+ Tackles, which looks shocking at first glance. But trust me he is one of the better pass protection SS as well, we just didnt use him as one (Will probably have to this season though, given the new plays)

I guess you and I have two different meanings of "talk others down".

I wasn't talking down to, or putting down anyone.

Hey guys, just renewing this thread for the purpose of a little advertising.

I've thrown all my chips down and played my last hand to try and save this season for my team, I've put out a advert for a offensive and defensive co-ordinator to come in and take responsibility out of my hands, I do this because this season has proven I am out of touch tactically and just can't handle offense and defense gameplanning and scouting all by myself... I'm now a liability in that department and it's destroying my team.

As you guys are my experienced and valued peers, I thought I'd post up my advert to see if any of you guys would be interested in giving me a hand. Sort of give you first refusal.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=1470382

Thats the link to the advert. To be honest, I'm really getting desperate for help because every loss this season is reducing the morale of my team, and increasing the chance that the team will fracture come the end of this season.

So are you up for the challenge? Drop me a PM or a post!

For the franchise!

Jamie
