Anyone having any luck getting interceptions with safeties? Any reason why it's more common for a LB to get an interception than someone whose job is suppose to be just that?

I always thought a Safeties job was to play the middle or cover2, blitz, come up and stack the box in obvious running situations, and be the last line of defense mainly. I think interceptions come into the mix on a safeties responsibilities pretty much dead last.
and that's even after they have been called upon to spy the quarterback or cover a tight end.

I've had 1 regualar sesaon and 1 scrimmage game interception. The first one actually involved 2 of my players my DT got the hurry which caused the QB to throw it right to me SS my scrimmage one came when i practiclly took the ball out of the TE's hands .

I have:

Speed, Agility, Vision, Jumping, Catching, and Super Vision - so yeah, practically everything and then play Close and Aggressive. In my experience, confidence seems to be a bit important too, you should try to get it to 30. I noticed a huge jump in picks while I was training confidence from 20 to 25.
