And as you can see he doesn't "excel" in anything yet, he's more or less balanced between the attributes

speed

you need to get attributes to the soft cap. don't spend any more points in "special abilities" until you get to level 20. you may not have heard of the soft cap before. it works like this; it takes only one skill point (SP) to make an attribute go up one point...*until* you get to 48 after you get to 48 points it takes 2 SP to get that attribute up one, and at 60, it takes 3 SP, etc etc. now also realize that every time you level, you get a free quarter point or so in each of your important skills every time you level. now from 30 to 30.25, that is only worth 1/4 SP, if you follow. but from 50 to 50.25, that is worth 1/2 SP. so you want to get as many skills up to that soft cap asap. speed and agility are probably the best two attributes to get to the soft cap first for a linebacker.
