I was wondering if anyone had success with this? A powerback (more str>any other attribute by at least x1.5 is my definition of a powerback, or something like that) that has like decent jumping + dive 4 yardage SA getting alot of extra yards after breaking through tackles?

Well it was a couple of seasons ago, but on a team I was GMing back then we had two HBs of the same level splitting carries exactly 50/50, behind the same O-line and on the same settings. They were both in their early-mid 20s at the time. Let's call them A and B.
A was better in every aspect of the phsyical attributes except for 4pts worth of confidence/carrying. The difference wasn't huge elsewhere, but it was there. For SAs, A had 2 more power through, some scattered elusive SAs (He wasn't a power back to begin with), but had 1 less Cover Up and 3 (1 vs 4) less in Dive 4 Yds.
You'd expect A to be the better back, but he wasn't. B averaged a whole 0.5 more yards per carry. Not a huge amount in itself, but with 0.5 yds * 300 carries is 150 more per season, which can make a difference. B also had half the TFLs and 50% more broken tackles, although those are perhaps inflated numbers due to the nature of the ability.
Now what does that prove? Well nothing really since it was a few seasons ago. But at least back then it showed that D4Y was a solid attribute for improving gains. I don't think it has changed all that much, and remember that those guys didn't even have 20+ jumping, probably not even 15+.
