In my last playoff game, I watched as a team ran the Strong I offtackle run 9 times with success on their first drive. I knew they liked to run, so I was going to counter with 335Nickel man. What I got was A whole bunch of Base 3-4 and Base 4-3. I can't afford to be gashed like that. On my defensive AI, I called for one play only out of that one formation. Why won't it run it?

I think I found why, and I'm a tool...
Next question, has anyone noticed that there is no section in the Defensive AI for base I, it's the off I formations, the big I that doesn't exist, and then any variation, which causes a catch all?

There are only a couple Strong and Weak I's to worry about, maybe 3 each. So really, its not that big a deal to game plan them, then have the schemes for the "I" itself.

I would agree with that normally, but when the teams that is our biggest competition, the Strong I play is their bread and butter play. I feel if I can stop that one play, I we'll win our conference championship, which is being played against them.

JRoy, you have to put your strong and weak I formations above your any I formation. That way, Any I goes from covering all Is to only covering the straight I.
