There are 7 gutted teams in A7 west. I'd be shocked if fewer than 3 of the BBB13 west teams advance.
here's to us moving back up - maybe we can be a bit more competitive this time around! ;o)
I'm disappointed Tree... I had money down that RGB would be the title game participant from BBB13 West this season. You silly little bitches. I bet you didn't give Awooga the ball again. When will you learn!
Anyways, I'm sorry that I won't be seeing you guys when you promote back to A7 (along with at least 3 or 4 of your clearly very animated leaguemates) but wouldn't mind getting a scrimmage in next season. Good luck and keep on keeping on.
well i'll be damned...you won the A7 Super Bowl! congrats on that bro....
lol, and yea, Awooga didn't get the ball much in the championship games. he's one half of our Thunder and Lightening backfield...
it's not a bad thing when you have two HBs rushing for over 2000 yards EACH and scoring a total of 95 TDs, along side two QBs who through for over 4,000 combined yards and 44 combined TDs...there's also the 27 punt/kick returns for TDs, and the 15 interceptions returns for TDs...
yep, this ain't the old RGB, but we'd still love to catch you in a scrimmage next season.
To be perfectly honest, I NEVER expected a team that was relegated to reach the top tier of it's new league, especially relatively quickly (it only took you 2 seasons). To think it was only 2 months ago that I was hanging 90 on you guys in Waco...
You've all done a hell of a job, and I know if I was an agent on RGB I'd be very excited right now. Keep it intact and keep it going boys. we KNEW we had the makings of a good team, and only needed a few players to really be competitive. we also knew - long before Bort would admit it - that morale and chemistry were much bigger factors than we were all lead to believe.
once we got those two things straightened up, and got the commitments we really wanted from our players (and god bless 'em - some of those guys stuck with us despite the miserable 1-15 and 2-14 seasons despite the fact they could have really had their pick of teams), we knew it would just be a matter of time, although, truth be told, we didn't expect the regular season crown and the conference championship game in only our second season here. we thought we had an outside shot at those, but then things fell into place.
one day we'll meet again in the regular season, but again, let's make sure we get some scrimmages next year, and, again, congrats to your fantastic season.
