If I need FP, I retire someone.

If I feel GLB isn't where I think it should be at the end of my FP, I'll just leave.

It is what it is.

Hilarious.

I keep buying FP because I enjoy the game.

If I didn't enjoy the game, I would leave and not worry about using up my imaginary monies.

I guess I don't get some peoples line of thinking.

It is what it is.

Problem is it isn't "imaginary monies". We spent money on the game, thus Flex Points act as real money. We paid for them. So just leaving before they are spent would be like throwing money away...

I just retired a WR with $1,000,000 in the bank. That's imaginary money. The Flex I got back for him, that is my hard earned cash sitting in this game that I cannot get back, so I'll make the most of it.

How so?

I have money vested in this game via flex points. I retired 2 players after season 4 so I'd have flex for season 5.

I now face the choice again. I'll probably end up retiring a player or two to play some more. I'm not going to just throw my money away.

Your global view of this "game" is what is hilarious. I put money into it because I enjoy it and it's fun. You won't to make some sort of political statement about the state of the game. You miss the forest for the trees.

I'm far from thrilled with some of the steps that Bort has taken, but I'd be lying if I pretended I played and continue pumping $ into it for any reason other than that I still really enjoy the game. I have no clue how many more seasons I'll do this, but I will until I no longer enjoy it.

If that's how you want to view my opinion, you have that right. I can't argue your feelings, only mine.

I agree. I started losing interesting in season 3. Since then it got more tedious to me. Therefore, I won't put money in, but I can take a little back and hope for the best.

Imaginary in the sense that it's only good in this game. You're not getting it back, and the only value you are getting out of it is the ability to enhance your gameplay in a game that you don't seem to enjoy. You've already lost that money, now you're losing time too.
