What is making my LB do this? Happens all game, he heads backwards instead of towards the line of scrimmage. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Is your LB tactics set to pass coverage?

No, he is set to balanced.

A little more info: Vision 46.13

Th initial drop back is due to zone coverage but he seems real slow to break off the zone to go in for the hit.

Try switching to run

jack your vision up to about 70 seems to fix that for me.
