And/or an IQ test. For another team that I GM, our Owner posted a thread about Season 6 recruiting in which he publicly admitted to doing something illegal to GLB standards. Now it was just in the Team Forum and I doubt Admins/Mods check those forums very much, if at all, but still, why would you say something that could possibly get you removed?

So, trying to cover for him, I deleted the thread and PMed saying something along the lines of: Sorry I deleted the thread, but what you said could get you removed from GLB. He totally flipped out on me saying that I crossed the line, if it happens again I'm off the team and I don't pay for the team, he does so I guess for some reason paying for the team means he controls the forums. Haha if he didn't want me deleting threads, then why not remove the forum from my responsibilities?

When you think about it, as a GM couldn't I have done something more to serious to receive from the Owner flipping on me? Oh maybe like signing all of my guys to max contracts or signing an offensive player (I run the defense there).

And this is coming from a guy that says he's 34, married, and has a 7 year old kid. I feel sorry for that kid as God only knows how he reacts to a glass of spilled milk. Once again, blowing up over a deleting thread about who's coming over for Season 6.

Heh I'd drop that GM job unless you got guys stuck on the team. The guy sounds pretty postal.

I do have players on the team (Starting QB and K). Plus I really like the DC job. Being an OC and DC in different leagues has made me a bit better at both jobs. I was absolutely amazed at his response to me. As I told him, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to know you shouldn't post stuff that's illegal or can get you banned.

I think I'm in a good situation. If we can get back to normal then I'm cool, but if he wants to keep these kind of antics up, well then he's about as smart as a cow walking off the side of a cliff. I have some serious blackmail on him as I can PM Mods or Admins (whoever takes care of it) and let them know of two accounts ran by the same person. They check the IP Addresses and he's gone.

Haha, just another thing I found funny with the situation. Sure Owners do pay for the team and we GMs and/or players don't. But we're paying for our player's boosts and upgrades. So in that sense we pay for players to help benefit the team that the Owner pays for to make his experience more enjoyable.

DFM I feel you I miss this league too but I am happy to be a Nudist in A3 but I'm mad I'm not in BBB6

Never had more fun in this game than when I was mixing it up here in the BBB6 with you guys. I would actually get nervous about upcoming games here especially against those a-holes in Louisiana . Damn I miss them most of all! And Sully was the Glue that kept it all together. "You goofy bastards are about the best thing that's ever happened to me."

I hear ya. Seasons 2 and 3 were the best, with the anticipation for games, and the activity, and what not.

Hopefully the scrambled eggs that will take place in the offseason gets the leagues competitive again so my skills can be better utilized.
