it seems like the only times I give up plays is where I have em locked down tight as hell, and then at the last second they gain separation on me and are open for the catch.

what gives?

Looks like the WR ran a hook on you. You may need more vision and agility to help combat that,

I got plenty of agilty, im past the 2nd soft cap, so it must be something else.

You initially bought into a Pump Fake or Juke on the route. You spent the rest of the play playing "catch-up." I think that gets minimized with VISION.

How high is your Shutdown coverage? You might want to get it in the 7-10 range if it's not already there.

It looks like an agility issue, so even though you have plenty of agility, maybe investing some into Special Abilities that enhance agility would help.

i figured either puttin pts into super vision or shutdown coverage was the answer

You figured well. That's a misread play, you kept running on as the WR came back, need some vision & Super Vision to get it right.

my vision is softcapped but I havent really put that much pts in my sa's yet
