Don't except anything less. It would probably be hard to pass up a roll with 16+ speed, but 10 in punting. But I would pass it up. to make the perfect build you have to start off perfect. It would also benefit you to pass up a 5'11 roll with all 8's in those cats in favor of finding a taller build. with 8's in those cats. Having patients will pay off.

After you find that don't spend the initial 15 points. save them. You will then have to choose whether or not to boost him. I would wait a full season to gain max X.p. from over night roll over.

Put all your initial equipment on stamina. you will change it to speed later and sell the stamina equipment.

Edit: By Billy Corman "There's a reason for 7 Training points out of the gate, btw. First, train Normal and get a shopping token. Buy the crappy lowest cost item. Upgrade this when you can and "store" tokens on it; when sold, you get tokens back. You now have 5 points for your first of many Intense training sessions." This is a pretty good idea. You can choose to do this or not. And it kinda sucks if everything costs over 1000 or something.

Training.
Only do intense training. save 5 then train.

Start off with Speed and stamina till speed reaches enough points + s.p. to bring to the first cap of 48(2:1). You would think speed and agility would be the first step, which isn't a bad idea either, but they offer agility and vision.

After you cap speed Start saving s.p.'s again and start training agility + vision on intense till you have enough points in agility+ s.p's to bring agility to the first cap 48(2:1).

After you bring agility to 48, start saving s.p.'s again. Start training Vision + Jumping till you have enough vision + s.p.'s to bring vision to the cap of 48(2:1).

Edit: bring speed to the 3:1 cap.forgot to add that.

once you cap str, agility, and vision, you can go a number of ways with him.

I am going to train jumping and catching together and add a few s.a.'s here and there.
I would like to try this with my 1st CB.I do have a couple questions, tho. When do you "use" your initial 15 SP ? It will go to speed, correct?

When you start a player off,you don't have enough money for equipment to begin with.I'm assuming, try to buy it when you can and put stamina in it?
I did use the shopping token to get this wonderfully cheap glove to store my tokens in.Seems I'll be bankrupt soon.Just confused in the matter of time I will be able to afford all this stuff at $300 a day. Please let me in on what I "know" I'm missing.

I don't really like the idea of shopping for a cheap piece to store tokens right away. It's a neat idea, but I'm not all for it. I think I'm going to delete it.

Basically you make your c.b., put him on a d-league team for 300 a day.

you start off with 2500$, spend 2000 to get +1 in stamina for each equipment.

Then train str, and stamina on intense. and save the two training points. as you level keep training speed and stamina until you have enough through training + sp's usually by the time you have 25-30 sp's as early as level 2, as late as level 4, depending on the roll.

After which start saving sp's again and train agility and vision together, and continue on like posted. I'm actually trying one of my corners out, by bringing speed to 60(the second cap) before I cap agility. I think this might be better in the long run.

I like the guide and have two semi-high level corners myself (both 28) but I didn't slow build them.

I have been making a few players this season to slow build and just made two corners today.

I would like to get speed agility and vision all to the second caps as soon as possible. Which way is faster/more efficient...

A. bring all 3 to the first caps first, than second cap them one at a time

or

B. Bring speed to first than second cap, than agility to the first than second cap, than vision to the first than second cap??

Choice a would be more optimal. It would keep you playing well, while building the second caps up. That's my opinion on that.

Unless you don't care about playing well for a long time, then go for choice b.

I'm going to cap speed twice, then cap agility, then cap vision. then I will go from there. Possibly capping jumping or getting come good s.a's up to 2

It's also a good idea to time your training. when you are about to bring speed to cap, try to let your bar fill up to about 92-99 percent, then leave it. That way when you finally double cap speed it will be sitting one training session away from going up into the 3:1 stratosphere.

It's also a good idea to time your boosts so you can go from 48-49 without having to spend 2, But for corners it's so damn hard to do since they get .33 a level, on the majors.
