Alpha is a really huge mess this season, I dont see Zeta winning many awards except for rushing ..

Alpha awards

Passing 2/3 Yards, 2/3 TDs
Rushing 1/3 Yards, 2/3 TDs
Receiving 3/3 Yards, 3/3 TDs

Sacks 3/3 this is a really big joke too, people who had max 8 sacks in a season now have 42 this season in Alpha .. thats sad, people jumping 300-700% in one year is retarded, but thats how bad the pass protecting in Alpha shrunk this year. Kruscher has 42 and has never had less than 23 sacks (and he holds his corner, so hes not like a TJ King with 90 speed) and yet hes 4th this season, Im not sure he has ever been less than 2nd .. but there are 3 Alpha players in front of him and 2 of them were nobodies before this season. Oh, but Deebo is still good, too bad his team sucked or he would have got 100 sacks in Alpha this season.

I cant even tell who are good players this season, last season was also a big mess. Thats why the last time I did an all conference team was Season 3, because Season 3 inspired me to do it, because we had some real competition and stats actually meant something that season, in Zeta, Alpha was still a big mess, last Season alpha was actually much less of a mess.

Can someone who has access to Bort please petition that we need more than just CPU teams demoted, because our entire league is still a mess if we just get rid of the CPU teams. Then Alpha is going to be a juggernaut conference and Zeta still wont be close to fixed.

Already being handled. If a team is "flagged" due to not being able to compete via levels, they will be demoted to an appropiate league and the best team from the lower leagues will be promoted to replace them.

How is that being handled Capones?

I mean .. not being able to compete via levels, what does that mean and from who does that message come?

Who decides that is what I mean .. can we as a region actually reorganize ourselves, or is it going to be some automated process that is based all off numbers .. Im just curious whats going on with that, I dont read any other forums anymore other than EE forums.

from Bort

"Couple clarifications, since I know people have been waiting on these:

Playoff Rev Sharing We're not doing a rev share exactly, since some teams expressed the fact that they would purposefully screw other teams out of money, so here's what we're doing this season:

1. No more "make the playoffs" bonuses.
2. Max playoff ticket price for home team will be lowered from 3.5x to 3x (old version said: 3x to 2.5x) (for 100/100/100 teams) to get the ridiculous cash totals from playoffs back under control.
3. Away team will sell tickets at a set price of 1/2 the expected price for fans to come to their stadium and watch the game on the jumbotron. No concessions, so this is basically a sliding bonus based on stadium size. A pro team with the minimum stadium of 8000 seats would make $200k.

Rules for promotions to fill the spots of sold teams: Since we've got to fill the slots of sold teams that will be vacated at the end of this season, promotion order will be sorted by the following criteria and season stats, in order, amongst the eligible teams in the 2 leagues below them:

1. Number of playoff victories
2. Number of playoff games participated in (this covers the first round losers over the non playoff teams)
3. Postseason scrimmage wins (not friendlies)
4. Postseason scrimmage ties (not friendlies)
5. Avg playoff game points differential
6. Avg postseason scrimmage points differential
7. Avg playoff points scored
8. Avg postseason scrimmage points scored
9. Avg playoff points allowed (lower is better)
10. Avg postseason scrimmages points allowed (lower is better)
11. Regular season wins
12. Regular season ties
13. Regular season points scored
14. Regular season points against (lower is better)
15. Random selection.

This makes it so we end up going down through the rounds, and the playoff scrimmage games vs the other league end up counting as to whether you can get promoted or not, assuming there are teams above you to take their place.

I'll add this info to the FAQ later tonight, too, for future reference. "

That says nothing about teams who are lower level and non-competitive being demoted, all it says is that teams are promoted "assuming there are CPU teams above the teams"

I'd just love for it to be competetive enough so that statistics mirror that of Normal NFL statistics...

I'd love for a good game by a RB to be your standard 25 carry 130 yars and 2 score games... as opposed to the 25 carry 400 yard 13 TD lines we see reguarly when a team wins 255-0.

Yes Randy its not crystal clear, But I think if we can see what is happening with the promotions, the inverse will have to happen to the demoted teams.

There will be a group of selected indviduals (it's obviously not being said who) who will be assigned a region and they will investigate it in a number of ways. Stats over seasons, current levels, verifying the team will exist at it's higher level the next year, etc. There are a number of things being used to gauge where a teams true "quality" should place it in the league structure. If there is a team in Alpha or Zeta that is starting multiple people below LVL 30 right now consider them gone. There are plenty of teams in the lower leagues better off and closer to competing.

The region itself will have little say in it as far as I know, the people assigned may be a liaison and try to follow requests but mostly it's using a set criteria. Not a "formula" they'll just run as a script but they'll go through one by one and figure out who has the best PRO potential and get those 32 teams here.
