My kicker is punting 45 yarders and then he is punting 26 yarders, what attribute should I be putting my points in that will allow for more consistent punting, obviously I wanna be on the 45 yard end vs. the 26 yard end.

Here is his build, let me know.

You're level 10. This stuff takes time.
edit: Post a link to the build if you want help.

Punting is a good choice, though.

Open your build.

Don't worry about consistency until level 20. If you do ANYTHING but get your punting up, and fast, you'll suffer greatly in the long run. Building a P to "succeed" before level 20 is just silly.

Really it is that way for all positions - the good expansion teams are level 15, and 20 by the playoffs, at a minimum for a "good" player.

Anything before then is just maximizing build quality, so put up with it one more season

And punting, confidence, energy and SAs probably all help with consistency. Though strength likely helps stamina in the long run, so most people don't advice actually putting points in stamina to help energy.

Confidence/Vision. Your current build though yoiu need to do the following:

1. Avoid SA's until your build is fleshed out (good job avoiding it thus far)
2. Get Punting to at least the third soft-cap (possibly 4th in your current position)
3. Focus your EQ in punting. Your EQ bonus should always go in capped attributes. Putting EQ bonus into a skill that you could easily train up a level in two days is a waste.
4. After punting, get Confidence to the soft-cap, then vision. Train vision while you're getting the other capping done.
5. Train Spd,Agi,Jum. Do not spend SPs here, training only. If you feel you need more stamina, train that as well.

I think I have a pretty good build for a punter. Once I got second cap on Punting I went to strength and vision. Punting is currently at 70 with out equipment. Last game I had one punt for 57 yards. My guy is on a good team so he doesn't punt much, maybe three times a game this season on average.

Maybe this will help to see where your punter can go.

Level 24

Strength: 50.79
Blocking: 8
Speed: 25.11
Tackling: 8.48
Agility: 24.05
Throwing: 13.82
Jumping: 20.89
Catching: 8
Stamina: 16
Carrying: 8
Vision: 48.71
Kicking: 10
Confidence: 45.5
Punting: 92.29
SA'S 3,5,4

Scouting Bar- 39 Overall(Yellow)- 60 Punting(Green) - 30 Tackling (Red)

I would also like to point out two things.

1) touchbacks
2) position of punter

sometimes, distances aren't the best except for stats padding. You should take into account of where your punter is punting from and his ability to find the 10 yard-in zone.

A bad punt can lead to an opponent scoring drive while a good punt can lead to great offensive field position in your next drive.

Totally agree, that's where vision and confidence come in.

Yeah it's tough because you can't actually kick a ball out of bounds yet. so this is also a reason why touchbacks are happening so much more.

retire your player. you should not of put anything into strength at your level.

all SP should go immediately into punting to the 3rd/4th soft cap. Then confidence to the 2nd soft cap. after that it does not matter imo so I would go SAs with a base of 5 across the board. Put all equipment into punting.

Train vision, strength, agility, jumping to 25+
Optional speed.

Your punter should never get a chance to tackle anyone. Do not touch stamina EVER. People put way too much emphasis on strength on punters and kickers.

My punter at level 16 punted a 55.5 yard punt with 20 strength. Fluke maybe, but he has been consistently punting about 40 yards.
