I've had my tactic set on evasive all season, but heard some others saying they have better luck putting it on combo. I don't touch power because it is garbage. I've got more agility than speed also.

Question is when you put is on combo, it says "switch it up between evasive and power style randomly". Does this mean PER PLAY, or the player will switch up with both DURING the play?

dont really know the answer to your queation but ive set ist to combo the last 2 games and saw some...he actualy doesnt getpushed back like he did on evasive and he also beats his OT more often (the OT`s were better then the OT`s i normaly play against)... hope that helps you but i wanna know the answer to your question too...

DEs should always be on evasive. DTs can use combo, as sometimes you bounce around the guard and take up the OT so the DE has a clear shot to the qb.

Both my DE's do better on combo than evasive. There both agility and speed DE's with agility higher than speed.

Yup, it goes with one or the other per play. So its a crapshoot and your better of choosing one or the other imho.

But also remember that bull-rush wasnt a new move but the old pass-rush move. Lots of DE's had success before some small vision/pathing changes (unrelated to the DE's) made them bullrush every play. Because Bort constantly makes small changes this could well have changed again.

Ever since switching to combo I have seen my DE get more sacks against equal oppenents and he also started doing this.

My high lvl DE has been set to Evasive all season and he does that quite often.

Thats a product of agility, and it is run on the evasive setting.

Honestly, I have a DE who was pretty productive w/ power rushing for a while. He's not a Strength build, but he was doing fairly well anyways

That is definitely one of the evasive moves, but I agree...the combo setting seems to be working much better now than it did (compared to evasive) at the beginning of the season.

I would say they are about even, though particular build may make a difference ...

I'm trying it next game. I'm switching from Evasive to Combo. I'll report back if I see any real change.

You may have just timed your setting change with a Bort change because that inside rush move seems to be new this year...or at least more common. I have gotten a majority of my sacks and hurries diving inside and I am on evasive.
