We've found, particularly in blow out wins, that our starting LOLB only gets about 20 plays.

Is this basically due to the other team going pass happy and playing a lot of 3 and 5 WR formations, forcing us to go to nickel and dime and dropping the LOLB first?

Is he on special teams? That could explain why it happens during blowout. Special teams suck energy/stamina/whatever.

on nickel the LOLB and MLB stay in. ROLB is the first out.

if it's a blowout, then your backups are probably being favored.
