I am having some trouble consistently stopping this play, could someone give me some pointers on a good defense to use?
It doesn't matter which defensive formations...

if you pay too much attention to it, you'll get burned by passes out of the same formation. might as well just play it safe. Your best bet is to put your strongest DE at LDE.

Yup. There are some plays you can set to stop it, but from what I've seen you leave yourself vulnerable in other areas.

The only real way to consistently stop the Off-Tackle run is with GL defense. Not exactly a "safe" call, obviously.

Shifting strong side and relying on your LDE, LOLB and SS is the alternative, and while it won't shut down a good HB, it can contain one.
