Vision. 50 is rather low for your level.

your speed is really low for your level (it should be over at least 70 by now). 100+ tackles by a safety means your linebackers and Defensive line are non-existent, find a new team first.

Most level 30-35 SS's have vision right at 50

That's actually nowhere near the top of my list, especially seeing as we just improved by 6 wins, and I'm GM'ing them...

very similar player to my guy, I'd say a bit on speed and confidence (+1 or 2 sp) maybe. And start training catching so you can have some more INT's to go with your 8 million tackles per season

How important is raw speed in a position where the ball carrier is usually running straight at you or you at least have a good angle?

I'd love to play in a league where the ball carriers are build that worse - just for once!

Where my safeties are playing, the ball carriers manage to get 3-4 yards before most LBs even turn from their forced drop back. So every split second counts to keep the runs down below 3 yards.

Pretty important, I'd say. Even if they are running right at you, by running faster you minimize their yardage. Not to mention it gives your DC a little more flexibility in being able to blitz other players, knowing you'll be okay in coverage, and blitz yourself... Potentially freeing up other players to get to the ball. By having a lot of speed you can do a much better job covering up for the mistakes of others, be more effective in pass coverage, allow your defense to open up and do more things, and reduce the amount of yardage in the run/short passing game, etc. I just don't see any reason NOT to have a lot of speed.

Speed is really important, and its too low compared to your other attributes. Get your raw speed up to the 2nd cap (60) and switch over all of your equipment to speed. It will definitely help your player.

Also, work to increase the jumping and stamina.

Speed for SS isn't nearly important as you guys are making it out to be. Strength/Speed/Vision combo all are extremely important.

I have a SS machine, Eric The Truth Berry....although he is currently playing FS due to lack of depth there...
