Pleased to see my Beavers are still #1, but that could all change tomorrow when the Skins come to town and visit the Beaver Bowl.

We always have fun games with the Skins and they lead our series 2-1 so we know that we are in for a hell of a battle.

The west is really interesting at the moment as imo I think the strongest team on paper are the Topes, but they have managed to lose 3 now. Overall i think any team in the top 5 of the west could go all the way, but whatever happens now my Beavers cant finish lower than 2nd this season and we are guaranteed our best ever regular season record having already won 14.

you guys have had a hell of a season.

I think you should do like the NFL teams and bench your starters the last game of the season to rest up for the playoffs...

I'm not that happy with getting a very good team like you guys for the last game.

Yeah good luck against the Flashpoint. You're gonna need it.

Flashpoint will score 60.....

LOL.

Btw, I too think the Topes may have the most talent out of all you guys. And I hate to point to gameplanning, but that's probably why they're not the top team.

This is the year for the Beavers. Great game planners and talent. It will take a flawless game in the playoffs to knock them off.

Big games this week with playoff seeding on the line

1. Birmingham Beavers-Took care of the Monkey's and now it's time for the clash of the titans. They have a balanced attack that is tough to beat and should help them in a game that will come down to the wire.

2. Fort Richardson Redskins-Definitely didn't overlook the Rahl's and ready to take a shot at the Beavers this week to be on top of the division. This is the game of the regular season so grab you beer and pizza and enjoy the show.

3. Las Vegas Aces-Bad week to have a big game against the Tigers since it will be overshadowed by the Beavers-Redskins game. Cutler's Drinking Buddy has been making teams secondaries look bad all year but is going to have a tough time against a very solid Tigers defense.

4. Raleigh Fighting Tigers-What a win by the Tigers against the Topes, if they pull out one the next two games they'll get a home playoff game. Their defense will keep them in games so I like their chances to get one of them.

5 Amarillo Isotopes-With their talent they should be on top of the league. They may have cost themselves a home playoff game with the loss to the Tigers but still have a chance because of the easy draw from the east. If they figure out though I wouldn't want to play them in the playoffs.

6. San Antonio Rahls-They have two easy games to finish the season and should finish a solid sixth. They have a ton of cash but almost everyone on their team has an expiring contract. If they can keep a majority of the team intact they have the funds to get some big time talent and be a major force next year.

7. Atomic Wedgies-They have played teams tough this year and almost have pulled off a few upsets. The only game they lost that maybe they should have one was the Rahls game but that was a toss up. They should split the next two games and stay in this spot because of the head to head win over Ditka's Army.

8. Ditka's Army-They had a brutal schedule to start the season but stuck together and have the easiest schedule to end the season and they are taking advantage of it. Their reward for possibly making the playoffs for the first time is a match up with the Beavers or Redskins. YAY!!

9. Miami Breakers-If they lose to the Java Monkey's they will be under .500 which is a major disappointment. They have some good talent on the team and need to be proactive in the off season or they may slip some more next year.

10. Java Monkey's-A major improvement over last year and with two games that they have a chance to win could finish .500. They could lose the last two also but still moving in the right direction either way.

11. Flathead Just Go Crazy-Get them some dept and they are gong to be tough to beat. Watch out for them next year!!! You heard it here first... I mean fifth.

12. San Antonio Gunslingers-cpu

13. Wigan Athletic FC-If they keep working it will get there. It may take a few seasons though.

14. Arrowhead Tomahawks-Team seems to be unified so that's a good start.

15. Death Valley Viking-got a win but still need to do something to improve next year.

16. Austin Extreme-Human owner-CPU players

Final rankings for season 5

1. Birmingham Beavers-Blew out the Redskins to show who is the class of the division. They've had a great year and are the look to keep the winning streak going with a first round match up with Ditka's Army.

2. Las Vegas Aces-Very strong year and a great way to close out the regular season with a victory over the Warbirds. They are on a roll and their passing game is going to be tough for the Wedgies to slow down.

3 Fort Richardson Redskins-Tough loss to the Beavers in week 15, but a very good year for the skins all together. Should be able to beat the Rahls and will be looking forward to a rematch with the Aces after that.

4 Raleigh Fighting Tigers-Had two tough losses to end the season but will look to beat the Isotopes for the second time this year. Should be a good match up of game planning vs talent.

5. Amarillo Isotopes-Had a decent year but has the talent to be better. Got a home game because of a easier east game than the Tigers. This team is good enough to pull off a couple upsets and wouldn't surprise me if they did.

6. San Antonio Rahls-Had a good year only losing to the top five teams in the division. With promotion of some of the other teams they could get a home playoff game next year. This year though it will be hard to beat the Skins on the road.

7. Atomic Wedgies-They have a very solid team and if they can keep most of their talent should be a force next year. They seem to play the top teams close and may be able to put a scare into the Aces.

8. Ditka's Army-Season is a continuation of the improvements started towards the end of last year. Hopefully will continue to grow and learn from playoff experience.

9. Miami Breakers-Tough season this year but if they work on a few areas they have a good core. With the Java Monkeys and Flathead improving they will be challenged for a playoff spot next year.

10 Java Monkey's-Good season for them as they made improvements and strides to become a contender. Should be in a three team race with the Breakers and Flathead to be a playoff team next year.

11. Flathead Just Go Crazy-Team was much improved from last year and will look to make another jump this year. If they can add the type of talent to the team like they did this year they can be a very good team next year.

12. San Antonio Gunslingers-CPU

13 Wigan Athletic FC-moving in the right direction will need to continue to work hard in the off season.

14. Arrowhead Tomahawks-They just don't have the players yet but should get better.

15. Death Valley Vikings-Lots of work to do or will be down here again next year.

16. Austin Extreme-Why are you reading this you should be on the phone recruiting human players for your team.

Good job DJ. Like the rankings. The 2-5 rankings can all be interchangeable at this point. It will be interesting to see what happens in these playoffs in the West.
