Helpful? Yes.

Essential? No.

Helps a LOT with defending the outside pitch.

It's helped me A LOT with my DT. He gets a ton of diving tackles as a result

My view, so far is simple..what else am I going to intense train along with my stamina and vision? My agi/spd are long since too high to bother training, and confidence isn't of much use to the position, which basically leaves jumping as the best pairing when training stamina and vision on intense.

I train my speed and agility even though I only get 8% every training session. If you train an attribute that costs 4 SP's to raise it 1, your basically getting 4 times the amount of training because it costs 4 Sp's to raise it.

My DE gets PD's but my jumping is in the mid 20's. I believe jumping helps with that but I'd only train something like jumping.

I've heard that jumping turns hurries into sacks.

I have heard if you get jumping too high, the lineman will actually jump over the QB.

I have jumping soft capped. I make diving tackles from like 5 yards away.
