Yeah, but there's a middle ground between drop steps and blitz, and that's what needs to be implemented and isn't.

Ya they need to fix this.
I'm so freaking sick of watching my entire LB core drop back into what looks like a zone when we are keying run from the start.

Thanks for making the OPs point. All your LBs drop back at the snap. That's the type of behaviour we'd sometimes like to avoid.
