B. The higher speed will help you break more tackles.

Thats a joke right LOL!!!

It wasn't a joke. Last season tackle breaking ability was nerfed so that you need good speed to build up momentum, therefore making it harder to tackle you.

Interesting

Wrong though.

How so?

Momentum is a result of Acceleration and speed so high speed alone will only contribute to top end and little else. If you'd have argued for agility as a contributary factor it may have carried a little more weight!

He already has 56 agility which I think is enough and he was just asking whether he should go for more speed or strength, so I didn't think agility was worth mentioning.

Build B...

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=80741

Strength: 48.55 Blocking: 18.75
Speed: 86.96 Tackling: 8
Agility: 54.47 Throwing: 15.75
Jumping: 17.75 Catching: 34.55
Stamina: 38.61 Carrying: 51.95
Vision: 40 Kicking: 8
Confidence: 28.58 Punting: 9

The funny part is that I only have all 1's in Elusive Back Specail abilities.
Power Back is 3 1 1 1 1

Yout stats are off the chart, but look at the competition. Against the best 4 teams you have played you are averaging a big 2.8 yds/carry. Your player has torn through a couple sad teams that have inflated your stats.

As the same you can for teams that we have played against for this league...

My back got more then 200 broken tackles last season (his only full season) and has more strength.

Speed and Agility are important yes, but it's common sense that strength helps you power through weak tacklers and push through big lineman that do nothing but beef up their strength.

I like build C the best. Build A looks good though. Hard to say between the 2 both can be very effective.

that is not true, power backs are much more successful in the game IMO, speed doesnt help break tackles strength does

It is true. What I meant was that speed will make your strength more effective. If you're running faster you'll build up your momentum and coupled with your strength it'll make it harder to tackle you.
