I am changing the name of the team due to atleast 2 other teams that i know of using the name charlestown chiefs even though i was the 1st to use the name.

With that said, just like the movie, this will be the last season of the charlestown chiefs. We aren't moving to florida though. We are moving to Oregon.

Stay tune for an announcement as to the new name for my franchise.

Good luck to all in the playoffs and those fighting to get there. its a shame that they are probably going to break up this league with all the new relegation shit bort was talking about. There are a lot great owners and good people in this league.

Yeah there is a Charlestown Chiefs in Canada BBB #4...and you definitely came before them!

i came before all of them. i specifically checked every league when i got my team as soon as season 1 ended. so i know i was first.

I did the same thing with my Algoma team. I doubt anybody will come up with the same team name but the City may be duplicated some day. Even though it really isn't a city...just an area in Canada. I originally wanted Sault Ste Marie because it is closest to Michigan (Where I live) and wasn't going to be as popular as Toronto...but low and behold there was 3 of them!!! I wanted to make sure my team was unique as possible while still meaning something to me...so we ended up The Algoma Arena Rockers!

wait, try to get Bort to have them pay you for the naming rights. 1st come 1st served! All of USA BBB #10 will agree that you are the one and only Charlestown Chiefs. if he don't agree to letting you keep the name..........may i suggest........The Charlestown Chefs? just add a chef boyardee hat to the indian!

Thorn told me that I was Shit out of luck.

I pm'd all the owners and asked them to change the name but was ignored.
