welli have read a few threads about if anyone has made a jumping wide out. everyone seems to go speed or hands first. so with this guy i will be training jumping and catching the rest of this year. and hopefully next year about a third way into the season i will distribute my skill points to jumping and catching. trying to get each one to 70 then put training vision and confidence next then after that year hit the points in them. finally on his third season i can train agility and speed. by the time i get them upin the 60 my leveling up should have caused me to be about 78 in jumping and catching and then the wide out will be able to get down the field. it will take a bit obviously but just wondering on suggestions from other people, well so i dont waste 120 days.

to make the training short
year one train only catching and jumping
year two. at start put all skillpoints into jumping and catching and then train vision and confidence.
year three. get vision and confidence to 60 with skill points while training speed and agility.

Unless you're super slow building, I wouldn't hold skill points in favor of training. If you want jumping and catching both to the third cap, get them there as soon as you have enough SPs.

Easiest way to slow build is not to add speed.

It has been done before and those players have since been retired but I would be interested to see your results to see if they achieve the same early success and slow decline as time goes on.

i think i will bury the guy on my team, so he gets minimal expierence from games and keeps training intense constantly. maybe then i can cap things after a year and then start to play him so he still will level somewhat quickly and help add attribute points after natural level up. i plan on playing this for a bit so i can sign him to a really cheap contract for three years and hopefully after a while he is a monster

I'm doing something similar for a WR I'm building. He's already got catching and jumping soft capped, I'll be taking them both to 2nd cap. He won't be boosting this season or next, though.
