Trendon I suggest you disallow the stats from the gutted games in your record book. I know there is a pro and con to this but you have gone to a lot of trouble to record all of that information it might as well be real.

You could also choose keep a second set of books after any potential realignment.

You guys have it good, and as long as every non-gutted team gets a crack at each gutted team there shouldn't be a problem. Problems arise when you have teams gut durring the season, and only some of the league gets a free game. That's happened a couple times in the West.

I don't really feel sorry for you guys one bit though. There are long stretches of the schedule in the West where there's no point in even logging on to this site.

I know there was a pole recently about realigning the leagues? Has Bort announced any plans?

And, quite honestly, yes we could. We could because we would try. A couple of teams in here became competitive overnight.

I'll give you that maybe a SELECT FEW people can turn a gutted team into a contender in a league with teams that have been together for 4 or 5 seasons, in half-a-season. But the task is nearly an impossible, I have been building my team for two seasons and we still get whipped daily. I beat the other teams that started with me, but we are no match for teams that have been together since season 1. Recruiting is nearly impossible, because no matter what you tell FAs they always look at your record and sign with winning teams. Many players don't re-sign because they would rather go to winners and have big stats. Plus, I haven't been playing since season 1, so I don't have an extensive friends list of people willing to send me high ranking playrs that aren't getting PT on their teams. Beef with the slow-builds is one thing, but when Bort hands you a gutted team in a good division you do the best you can.

We have had our teams for about the same amount of time and the Gippers are going to the playoffs this year.
