Whats better usually, to run the power back as the starter or the elusive back?

Both get equal carries and both are equal lvl.

Thanks for you thoughts

What's better is to not carry different kinds of backs, since we don't have situational substitutions at all.

However, I'd probably start the elusive back, and let the power back clean up against a tired defense. Of course, if your sub settings are too high, the power back is going to come in pretty quickly, so it doesn't matter.

You can change your runs for the game to suit the starting HB (outside runs for elusive, inside runs for power) and lower the sub out % a bit. This makes it difficult to scout against your runs. Also, two sets of gear for each HB would help a lot, and you could switch depending upon your tactics (str gear for elusive and speed gear for power back).

And sometimes the other way around. I had a game against a monster NT with bad stamina. I started the game rushing into the middle like crazy (70% of the plays) by the second quarter he was useless.

Yeah I have 3 backs on my team, 1 power, 1 combo, and 1 elusive. It works out surprisingly well. Now all of them are decently fast but it does definitely help out at times and it allows me to use all the run plays. Sure you might stop one of them but stopping all of them isn't going to happen.
