What causes this to happen? I usually have to stop catch then run. Is it only catching or does other factors come into play? My agi is low so I don't think its that.

Just a good pass by the QB.

Catching is a big part of it, but it also depends on the throw, the position you caught the ball in, etc.

I think its more to do with the QB.. my guess is when you stop to catch you are jumping or diving for the ball because it was a bad pass.

AGI and VIS also help stop this as your guy can adjust his route during the throw to catch it better in stride.
