Jeff Garcia's thread got me thinking of how bad the main player's guide really is for QBs and would like some successful QBs to add some input into what the differences in QB builds really are. I'm hoping to get this done before season 6.
I'm thinking on basing it off the premise of gunslinger/game manager/field general/rushing, what to focus your QB's build on and what teams would benefit from having a QB like this.
After we narrow down what we think these builds are, I would like some volunteers to open their builds and serve as sort of experts in each field. The requirement would be a successful starting QB that is at least level 25+ and willing to answer a few questions from new players about the build.
I'll start it off on what I think is the requirement to be a certain type of QB.
First and foremost I feel to be a good QB, you'll need to bring Throwing/Vision/Strength to first soft cap before branching off into one of the categories. I think if confidence plays a major factor in one these builds, you can sacrifice which ever attribute we deem to raise confidence to soft cap.
Gunslinger: Strong focus on strength and tight spiral.
Game Manager: Strong focus on Vision, could sacrifice strength for confidence Pocket Presence main SA.
Field General: Balanced Focus on strength/vision and focus on Tight Spiral and Field General.
Rushing: Speed/Agility at the expense of strength and vision. Don't really know much about this build.
