1 Rutgers Silent Willies 9-1-0 W8
They beat Boston, and Boston beat Washington. Clearly Rutgers has vaulted an extraordinary attack on the best of the East and now sit on top of the pile.

2 Boston DrunkN'Disorderly 9-1-0 W2
No one was entirely surprised that Boston had what it took to beat Washington but by the margin and fashion in which they did it was impressive. Boston shook off the Rutgers loss and responded well.

3 Washington Caps 9-1-0 L1
The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The Caps were handed a big loss by the Boston Drunks. In tandem with the giant loss of the NHL Caps to Atlanta that same night it wouldn't be surprising if a third of the team hung themselves and the Capitals to spiral out of control for the rest of the season.

4 Mid Michigan Storm 8-2-0 W6
Mid Michigan continues to get it done with their convincing win over Seattle. All of the teams ranked ahead of them are not looking forward to the probability of playing them in the post-season.

5 Chicago Sirius 7-3-0 W1
Nothing like regaining your confidence like playing the Raiders for a 199 point victory.

6 Bowling Green Broncos 7-3-0 W3
Same goes for bowling Green. Their game against Tampa will be interesting to ensure their elevation out of the pack of mediocrity if they can manage a large enough margin of victory.

7 Cincinnati Norris Ninjas 6-4-0 W4
Very close game over Tampa to prove that the can win when it matters and they need to.

8 Seattle Rainmakers 5-5-0 L4
Seattle's big loss to Mid Michigan keeps them from jumping anywhere in the rankings. It'll be interesting to see who pulls out the 8th spot between them, the Mountaineers and the Bandits.

9 Appalachian Mountaineers 5-5-0 W1
What happened to you guys? They've got two easy games before a big once against Tampa.

10 Tampa Bandits 5-5-0 L1
Tough loss to the Norris Ninjas hurts. They need to step it up against Bowling Green in their next game or their playoff hopes appear quite dim.

A league of their own:
11 Minneapolis Masterminds 4-6-0 W1
12 King Donaldt 3-7-0 L1
13 San Francisco Fire Cats 2-8-0 L3
14 Michigan Blues 1-9-0 L2
15 Maribel Shock Therapy 0-10-0 L13
16 Houston Raiders 0-10-0 L11

I think there are 3 number 1's and a 1a.. in fact, I think Boston and the Caps are still the cream of the crop with Rutgers and the team that beat them Mid-Michigan coming 2nd.

I fully expect Rutgers to be underdogs to the Caps tomorrow.. while I hope we (Rutgers) continues to defy the odds.. I wouldn't bet on it.

It's nice to have Seattle out of the cellar and getting some recognition. I just hope we can hang on for the rest of the season and get a playoff spot. It's been tough rebuilding a gutted team but all the work we've done is finally paying off.

Don't forget the Seattle can still end up 7th. We still have to play Cincy and as close as things are between Appy, Cincy, and Tampa, Seattle having tie breakers over all three would be big for us.

As far as what happened in Appalachia...

We're under new ownership, lost some top guys, but we're hanging in there
