Warrior General Games

1. Middle Tennessee Fightin' Catfish: The Catfish get their first chance at the top rank this week. Amassing nearly 600 yards in the air, the fish knock the Bombers out of the sky. Firmly in control of a home playoff game, this team will have plenty of games to test tactics and prepare for the post season.

2. East Brewton Warbirds: Handing the Hammerheads their second loss, this team is also in good position to host a playoff game. With just two tough games left, a win in both guarantees the Warbirds home field through the playoffs. The Warbirds get the Marauders at home and should have plenty to keep their fans cheering.

3. Jersey Shore Hammerheads: Coming off a tough two games, the Hammerhead look a little blue in the gills. Also with a firm handle on a home field game, the Hammerheads have one last tough game. The Proletariat should give the Hammerheads a good game, but the win should goto to the Hammerheads.

4.: Indianapolis Inferno: The lone wild card for the rest of the season, the Inferno hold the cards to determine the final rankings. If they falter, they could drop as low as spot 7 in the playoffs. But, with a strong showing they can capture a home game. A trip to "Murloc Megaplex" is the last bright spot for the rest of the season for them.

5.: Key West Corsairs : The Corsairs having played their hardest game already are looking at a pretty easy schedule the rest of the season. With two tough games left, they will need help to get a home field game. The Corsairs looks to pad stats this week against the Thrashers, knowing these points just might be the decider when post season begins.

6. Kansas Flashpoint: Back on track, the Flashpoint are starting to look like the dominate force they were last season. Handing the Hammerhead their first loss last game and punishing the Marauders this game, they just might be the team to beat when it is said and done. With two tough games left, they will also need help for a home game. The Bomber are next on their path of destruction.

7. East Saint Louis Firebirds: The Firebirds have finally started to look like the team of last year also. Playing the Inferno to a draw and quieting the Storm, they have one tough game to worry about. But, will an 11-4-1 be enough to get them a home game? They visit the Macaws in their next game and should also start thinking about scoring big, just in-case.

8. Youngstown Villains: The Villains get put put back in the "Hole" by the Inferno this week. The one bright spot is the the play of Joshua Vodhanel giving the Inferno their first sacks of the season at the tune of three. With wins over the other teams viaing for a playoffs spot, the 8th and final playoff spot is theirs to lose. They should rebound this week against the Storm, but shouldn't take them lightly.

9.: Detroit Proletariat: A win over the Thrashers keep the Proletariat in the hunt, but it doesn't look promising down the stretch. They will have to down 2 of the top teams in the conference and steal a win from the Bombers to even have a chance. The Hammerheads will be in no mood next game to make their losing streak 3 in a row, so the Proletariats need a solid game plan against their air attack.

10. Bay City Bombers: The Bombers have the hardest schedule left for the teams still within playoff contention. They will need allot of help and some luck to see the post season. The Flashpoint are their next game, and they will need to really take some chances to keep their post season dreams alive.

11. Massachusetts Marauders: The Marauders still have a chance at the post season. With a win over the Warbirds or Hammerhead, coupled with running the table, they could slip into the 8th spot. They face the Warbirds next and need to give all they have to advance.

12. Hilo Storm: Of all the teams in the bottom 8, this team has impressed me the most. They have played all their games tough, and I just want to say to them "Good Job". With the restructuring happening this season, I see this team really giving what ever conference they end up in fits. With the Villains up next, they will try to play spoiler the rest of the season.

13 Redridge Murlocs : Time for this team to look towards next season. Seven games to test game plans should give them a step up on the competition next season. They get the Inferno at home next game and can change the whole playoff picture with a win.

Thanks man, we really appreciate the kind words toward our team. When we got this team, we thought, or should I say were hoping to get one of the new expansion teams in Western Europe or Canada. We ended up with this gutted team, in this league stacked with talent. So we brought in all the players we had planned, we scouted hard to see if we can get some W's.

I like this league, I read the forums daily, I don't post much, what does a 3 win team really have to say anyway

Well, you could issue a never ending stream of annoying challenges to the beavers. Its a blast, I tell ya.

I would amend that to USA BBB #5 (EAST) is a bad draw. West is really top heavy. the middle and bottom are very beatable.

BTW I have had a blast here. We might end up 10 in the East. Yeah it sucks. But we started last season 1 day before the season and got a team with 2 HUMAN players. We were able to fill out a human team 3 days into the season. Trade upgrade trade upgrade ect... thru most of last year. Now were nowhere near where Unsaid and I would like to be. But from where we were at this point last year.. (NO WINS) 0-100's every game... we have improved alot. I would love to have 1 or 2 more years with you guys. Dont know if we would get to your level but we would get your respect.

I gotta agree with this. Hilo Storm is definetly an impressive team. They play way above their levels. When I 1st looked at the game we had against them I figured it was going to be a massacre based on their player levels. But they played very well and actually scored 3 TD's on us.

I think next season they are going to be very tough.
