I just want some outside opinions here, I don't know how much testing has been done with the effects of +pass quality equipment. So here's my question for you, if you had a shirt with +4 throwing and a shirt with only +1 throwing but also with +7% pass quality which would you go with if both would still leave you with 80+ in throwing? Do you think the 7% pass quality bonus would have more impact than another 3 points in throwing? For purposes of this "hypothetical" question let's also just assume you have the Tight Spiral SA pretty high already.

You could eventually put the throwing back onto it.

tought question, but if you are going to have throwing at 80+ i say go with the +7% pass qlty, i think it would make a big diff if u already have spiral high. all i could find was +5 pass qlty, but i opted to keep my +4 throwing.

I seem to get better performance with my +3% pass quality over a +3 throwing. My QB is lvl 18.

+5% pass quality was what I found, I then spent 8 bonus tokens upgrading it. I thought about waiting for a better piece of equipment that started with a +1 or +2 stat bonus to something I need like throwing or vision in addition to the +5% pass quality, but there is no telling how long I'd have to wait for something like that. The only piece of equipment that had both a stat bonus and a percentage bonus relevant to my position were the +2 agility +5% fake chance cleats my speedster WR found. The night we got our 7 training points I went on a little shopping spree and had each of my 7 players look to see what kind of equipment was out there. I probably spent 14-15 shopping tokens total and only found 3 things worth buying, and only one of those had both a stats bonus and a SA or % bonus worth getting for my position. I didn't really feel like possibly spending a week or two shopping for something I may or may not find.

I got lucky and found a shirt for +1 Vision and +5% PQ. I bought it for 60k and will upgrade it in 3 days. Then im going to sell my +4 throwing shirt. My Tight Spiral is already at 9 and I think im going to get it to 11 pretty soon. I think Pass Quality is right there with Throwing and Vision, and I wish Bort would give us a formula to determine our pass quality rating.

I was asking because today my QB faced one of the toughest pass defenses he will see all season. Last season they picked me off 4 times (only threw 5 INTs more in the other 15 games combined) and beat us 26-20. Today I decided to take a chance with the new advanced equipment and had a day WAY better than I thought possible. 29 of 35 (82.9% completions!) for 240 yards 2 TDs and 0 INTs.

His passes looked way prettier today, for example this one he dropped right on the WR in stride: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=151392&pbp_id=6583143 Normally my WR would have to stop and reel in a pass like that, being a speedster with mediocre catching.

1 game doesn't make for conclusive evidence, but it is good enough for me.

My QB has been great this season so far, until my team got gutted a week ago, but even still my stats werent that bad. The biggest difference has been a little bit vision and a lot Tight Spiral. Pass Quality is huge.

I would love to hear further input on this subject.
