jumping is underrated. jumping increases your tackling radius.

In this game, its awful tough to record a sack as a DT. Or maybe, I haven't found the right guy and right defensive scheme. Anyway, I'd be just as interested in TFL's and Hurries.
Primate, Boozer1011 ... you guys get those stats? And killing a running game is absolute money, too.
Your probably outleveled with your DT at 15 in a second year Africa A league. DT's are very capable of sacks even against equal leveled linemen. Good builds are the key.
Actually, it a first-year 13-Capper.
I was talking in general, too. I D-Co an uncapped and I just find it tough to break all the way through to the QB. However, they get a ton of tackles and hurries.

Anyway, I was just wondering about the VISION of those guys and if it helped them get into the backfield.

Don't get many sacks at all. Though top DL in tackles in my conference...
not enough in strength, speed, and agility, too much in jumping, stamina, vision and tackling.
I agree
Ha, I kind of agree as well, but don't the results speak for themselves? If I'm the top tackling defensive lineman in the conference, doesn't that say something is working? Or am I wrong?

Aye, from the changes i'm making to my DT, i'm starting to appreciate the extra points in vision/tackle/jumping. One advantage for me is I have the other stats already and am now adding the rest. This year has been a major improvement though with just having tackling up. Working on jump and vision via training now.

what exactly is the advantage to getting tackling high? My tackling isn't very high and I don't miss tackles, is there some other purpose to it?

Seems to give a slight boost to the range at which you can make tackles. Not certain but have made more tackles this season with it up.
