2 Huge matchups this week...It was pretty difficult for me to choose which was the game of the week...There's a couple big mismatches as well...

LAST WEEK: 7-1
REDB 285-TEX 0...Actual: REDB 240-TEX 0
LINC 100-FRST 7..Actual: LINC 101-FRST 0
HOU 48-CLEM 17...Actual: HOU 99-CLEM 10
RICH 35-DEI 24...Actual: RICH 73-DEI 17
RIVC 42-ALC 21...Actual: RIVC 78-ALC 14
CLE 56-BAL 21....Actual: CLE 44-BAL 0
SYR 31-JAXB 24...Actual: JAXB 33-SYR 24
APP 42-LOU 39....Actual: APP 33-LOU 30 (OT)

Yes, I actually got one wrong...I can't believe I overlooked Jax Beach...Appalachian-Louisville lived up to its billing...Quite possibly the Game of the Year so far...Let's get to week 10:

(8) Appalachian Lycans (8-1) vs. Deimon Devil Bats (1-8)

One week after tussling with the Baby Kittens, the Lycans get a walk in the park against Deimon, who got smacked down by Richmond (I never thought I'd write that)...The Lycans get two walks in the park before they face the Freedom Warriors...Appalachian 190-Deimon 7

(7) River City Ransom (6-3) vs. State of Texas Domination (0-9)

There's really nothing to be said about this game...For once Texas is not the #8 game...However, I think Appalachian outscores Deimon more than River City does Texas...River City 160-Texas 0

(6) Clemson Gamecock Kickers (1-8) vs. Richmond Empire (2-7)

Someone apparently failed to tell Richmond that they're one of the worst teams in the league, as they have won as many games already this year as they did last year...Clemson is severely underwhelming us all this year...Richmond 80-Clemson 10

(5) Alamo City Souljahs (2-7) vs. Houston Armageddon (4-5)

As sad as this is for me to say, Alamo City is going to be behind Richmond in the rankings next week...Houston has won all the games they're supposed to...Unfortunately, they're also losing the games they're supposed to...Luckily for Houston, this is a game they're supposed to win...When asked if they had a chance to beat Houston, Snoop Dogg answered for Jimo...Houston 45-Alamo City 10

(4) Frostburg Bobcats (4-5) vs. Syracuse Samurai (6-3)

After back-to-back maulings at the hands of Appalachian and Lincoln, Frostburg is no doubt going to be hungry to prove themselves...Unfortunately, Syracuse is going to be just as hungry after dropping to Jax Beach...Syracuse is just a little too tough of a challenge for Frostburg...Syracuse 42-Frostburg 7...

(3) Jax Beach Juggernauts (5-4) vs. Baltimore Hustle (3-6)

Jax Beach shocked me last week by upsetting Syracuse...This comes just one week after pushing my Freedom Warriors to the brink...Jax Beach is quickly becoming one of the teams that simply cannot be overlooked...Baltimore is still struggling, and sorry to say, but the struggle continues...Jax Beach 56-Baltimore 13

(2) Red Bank Thundercats (9-0) vs. Cleveland Buckeyes (6-3)

On any other given week, this would be the game of the week, and some could argue that this is the game of the week for this week...Red Bank becomes the sole unbeaten team after Louisville fell against Appalachian...Cleveland contines to impress me, but Red Bank's defense is just too much...The good news for Cleveland is that this is their last real challenge this season, so while they may be falling to 6-4 this week, they should rebound to finish 12-4 or 11-5...Red Bank 42-Cleveland 10

(1) GAME OF THE WEEK: Louisville Baby Kittens (8-1) vs. Lincoln Freedom Warriors (7-2)

Wow...Just one week after going toe-to-toe with Appalachian, Louisville wakes up to a game with Lincoln...This game could go a long way toward determining playoff seedings for this year...If Lincoln wins, they would most likely end up a #2 or #3 seed...If Louisville wins, they most likely lock up the #3 seed...Is there a chance that Louisville could end up with a 2 game losing streak? That is possible...However, I just don't see that going down...Louisville 35-Lincoln 31

Hope you guys enjoy the two marquee games this week...Both of them could go either way...Should be a great week for true GLB fans...

Nice game Husker. When you guys came back to tie it up in the 4th, I thought you would probably win. I was very proud of my guys for preventing just that.

Another great game between our two teams.

It's always a battle between our teams...Hopefully this bodes well for us going into the playoffs, because the last 2 years we beat you in the regular season and you beat us in the playoffs...Maybe it will be the opposite this year...

Oh ya, point out the wrong call, and now we got some smack talker, talking.... Hey, I will point it out, and have fun with it. See, we in your shoes this seson, that you were in last season, so it's all good. We trail in level's of the top teams, by a season or two. So, we'll take it. We don't have the gooney squad to help us out. It's quite good over here.
