1(1) - East St. Louis Tire Fires(8-1) - Shaking off a bad loss vs Singapore, ESL proves it's the class of the conference by beating the rival Pirates in a slug fest. The Tar Far are only a win or two away from clinching now.
Next week vs Taiwan Royals - ESL
2(1) - Bangkok Seamen(7-2) - Win over a good Niagara team in which they completely outplayed them. The number of inactives though has me wondering how this team will do come playoffs.
Next week at Holbrook Roadrunners - Bangkok
3(3) - Queensland Flash(7-2) - Huge win over the PSK, and with only early season losses to Bangkok and the Gothic, the Flash must be excited. A few tough games start off with a match with ESL in two weeks, and the Flash could throw the whole playoff seeding into a frenzy with an upset victory.
Next week at Spokane Vandalizers - Tune up game for the Flash before ESL
4(4) - Phuket All(7-2) - Losses to ESL and the Flash, plus a loosing history vs Bangkok places them here. They have there shot at Bangkok in two weeks, but can't look past the Jeanhorns this week, as 1 loss can be the difference between a home playoff game or not.
Next week vs Niagara Jeanhorns - Phuket wins by 10
5(2) - Bandar Lampung Pigskin Pirates(7-2) - Crushing loss vs there rivals in which they got away from there strength and only passed 6 times. With losses to Phuket and ESL, and only a 10 point win over PSK, i'm interested how they fare down the stretch with one of the toughest ending schedules
Next week at Singapore Marauders *GAME OF THE WEEK* - Big game for both teams and one neither can afford to drop.
6(7) - Singapore Marauders(6-3) - Singapore's two headed rushing attack needs to be firing on all cylinders this week as they face a Bandar team looking for a rebound win. This is a very important game for both teams with playoffs just around the corner.
Next week vs Bandar Lampung Pigskin Pirates *GAME OF THE WEEK* - Absolute must win for Singapore
7(9) - Pattaya Partisans(6-3) - I wonder about the direction of this team. Last season they had trouble beating the top teams, and this season that trend has continued. They need to prove they can beat some top competition if they want to move up the rankings.
Next week at Pennsylvania Silver Knights - Must win game for both teams will leave one on the outside looking in. PSK takes this imo.
8(6) - Pennsylvania Silver Knights(5-4) - Tough time adjusting to the Pro's, and with locker room distractions as well has the Knights on the brink of missing the playoffs. Games vs Pattaya and Niagara will make or break there season.
Next week vs Pattaya Partisans - I think PSK needs this more and will pull out the victory
9(8) - Niagara Jeanhorns(5-4) - Tough loss vs Bangkok but they can't let it bother them
10(10) - Macau Gamblers(3-6) - With the playoff's out of reach, time to start building for next season
11(11) - Xi'an Dragons(3-6)
12(12) - Chaiyaphum Gothic(3-6)
13(13) - Holbrook Roadrunners(2-7)
14(14) - Tokyo Whalers(2-7)
15(16) - Spokane Vandalizers(1-8)
16(15) - Taiwan Royals(0-9)
