1. Jersey Shore Hammerheads: In a shoot out against the Catfish, the Hammerheads were the first to surface and take the prize. Looking down the next 8 games, it looks like the Hammerhead have 3 solid challengers left, with 2 of those being their next 2 games. Can the Flashpoint stop this juggernaut?
Previous Rank: 1

2. Middle Tennessee Fightin' Catfish: The Catfish threw everything they could find at the Hammerhead, but the shark was last one swimming in the end. Done with most of the big fish in the pond, the Catfish are left with one last tough game late in the season. Will a 14-2 get them home field though the playoffs, only time will tell. Their next game against the Marauders shouldn't be looked over lightly.
Previous Rank: 2

3. East Brewton Warbirds: Back to their winning ways, the Warbirds soar past the Flashpoint in a nail bitter. Not exactly him self this game, jerimia the bullfrog still had enough leg to boot three field goals including the winner in the fourth quarter. With 2 tough games left on their stretch to home field advantage, the Warbirds look to control their destiny. Their next game against the Proletariat should give them some breathing room after all the battles they have faced the last few games.
Previous Rank: 3

4.: Indianapolis Inferno: The Infernos first tough game ends well for them. Their path the next 8 games will test them fully. The Inferno visit the surging Firebirds next, and they will need to bring the heat if they plan down them.
Previous Rank: 4

5.: Key West Corsairs : With both backs gaining over 100 yards, the Corsairs still come up short on the score board. With 2 tough games down the pike, they will need some help to get a home field playoff game. The Corsairs now head down a path where they should light up the score boards, with the Storm being their first victims.
Previous Rank: 5

6. Kansas Flashpoint: Playing the Warbirds tough, the Flashpoint give up a heart breaker. They have their work cut out for them if they plan to get a home game in the playoffs. With a loss to the Catfish already this season, can the Flashpoint enter the water again and tame the Hammerhead?
Previous Rank:6

7. East Saint Louis Firebirds: Back in the driver seat, the Firebirds are soaring again. In a lopsided victory over the Drinkabeers, Ron Hinderliter has his best showing of the year with 7 TDs. With the Inferno coming to town, the Firebird hope to douse out the flames and give them their first loss.
Previous Rank: 7

8. Youngstown Villains: In a truly defensive game against the Bombers, the Villains send them home unable to hit their target. Fully in control of a playoff spot, the Villains should easily dispatch the Drinkabeers giving them a 3 game winning streak, and ample time to scout their next mark.
Previous Rank: 8

9.: Bay City Bombers: With a loss at the hands of the Villains, the Bombers are now on the outside looking in. With many tough games left, they will have to pull some upsets if they want some post game time. With the Murlocs their next ground target, the Bombers are in a must win situation.
Previous Rank: 9

10. Massachusetts Marauders: Another team hoping for help, the Marauders slay the Murlocs. Behind the running of Chris Labelle, Darin Rush gets all the glory. The Marauders will have to win one of the next 4 games if they plan on stealing a playoff spot. With the road starting at the "The Pond", the Marauders will need to find the right bait to catch the fish off-guard.
Previous Rank: 11

11.Detroit Proletariat : Still in the equation for a playoff spot, the Proletariat didn't help their cause as they let the Marauders steal one. With the Warbird up next, the Proletariats will need to also steal a victory against a stronger team to even think about sniffing a playoff spot.
Previous Rank: 9

12. Hilo Storm: Officially out of the post season, the Storm can now play spoiler. Crushing the Thrashers, the Strom now draw the Corsairs.
Previous Rank: 12

13 Redridge Murlocs : Playing a tough fought battle against the Marauders, the Murlocs finally show some spark. This team can also play spoiler with the talent that they have. Next up are the Bombers.
Previous Rank: 13

14.: Malibu Macaws: Walked over by the Proletariat, all this team can do now is plan for the next season. But, a trip to the "Thrasher's Nest" should have them chattering to each other.
Previous Rank: 14

15. Boone Drinkabeers: It looks like maybe this team is drinking way too much beer during their game planing and during the games. But, at least this way both teams leave the game happy or passed out. Crushed by the Firebirds, the Murlocs will be trying to tear them apart next game.
Previous Rank: 15

16.Alabama Thrashers: Its tough being at the bottom, but at least they know where they stand. The Macaws fly into town next game, I hope they have a dome.
Previous Rank: 16

Another great write-up Mailstrom. I think things are looking a little more clear at this point, as this is about what my rankings would look like. The top 4 spots could move around a lot though.

Wow, nice to be noticed, guess the most important thing is to back it up with a W against the Inferno!!

Kinda strange, love the write ups every week, even though you are the owner of the Infernos, your write ups are very impartial. Here's to a good game...Firebirds Vs. Inferno...gonna' be a "hot one". ~ corny, I know~

More than impartial. I think that the Inferno are at the very least in contention for 3rd.
