A couple pretty close games, and i'm hungover as shit so this is going to probably be short.

1(1) Taiwan Blood Pandas (7-0)- And the beat rolls on. Now the only undefeated team left in SEA Pro due to the tar far going down today. I still question this team's strength of schedule in the beginning but they do have some good wins, and they proved their strength today by dismantling a solid Highlanders squad. I think everyone is waiting for the week 10 showdown with the red warriors so the pandas can prove they truly belong. They must be sure not to overlook a dangerous bangkok team first.

2(2)Neo Armstrong Cyclone Jet Armstrong Cannon (6-1)- The teams in 2 3 4 are breathing down the neck of the upstart pandas. NACJAC's only loss is to the pandas, but they have looked good beating the tweets and red warriors since that week 3 defeat. NACJAC's DE's have a combined 59 sacks on the year so far and continue to dominate in the trenches. With the Warlords up next, NACJAC looks to continue to beat the opponents soundly. In the skirmish. Scoring goal-unit baskets.

3(4) Krakatoan Red Warriors (6-1)- Maybe I dropped these guys too far 2 weeks ago after their loss, since they do have a head-to-head victory against the Hot Mamas. But in reality, the red warriors and hot mamas are two equally matched squads that know each other very well. How do you think the red warriors got their title? That aint facepaint, mister. The red warriors continue strolling through the middle of their schedule and await a duel with the #1 team in the land week 10.

4(3) Ho Chi Minh Hot Mamas (6-1)- Sorry, hot mamas. I can't rank a 1-loss team above another who beat you. (I probably shouldn't have in the first place) The Hot Mamas continue to cruise through their cupcakes, bon bons, fig newtons, whatever they're into these days. Week 10 in Zeta will be a doozy and really sort out the top four, with the Pandas v. Warriors game, and a date the Mamas have with the #2 team, NACJAC. That will be a great game no doubt. What happens though if the red warriors(who beat the mamas) beat the pandas, and the hot mamas beat NACJAC(who beat the warriors)? I do not want to have to rank that scenario.

5(6) Bangkok Tweetys (5-2)- The tweetys escape with a victory against the titans, which has many people going wtfxup? But a win is a win, and with the highlanders getting beaten by the pandas, the tweetys advance. They will defend their spot this week with a matchup against those same highlanders in what promises to be a great game.

6(5) Hong Kong Highlanders (5-2)- Hi Highlanders. The pandas called. They said they have your dignity waiting for you in their locker room. I for one don't know what that means. Is it a sneer of bad sportsmanship after a sound defeat? Is it bad taste? Is it a bukakke trap? The latter is sure to leave a bad taste in your mouth. Regardless of any extra-curriculars the highlanders are engaging in... they cannot hang their heads low after that loss. They must regroup to face the always tough tweetys this week. This should form up to be the game of the week.

7(10) Guangzhou Ducks (3-4)- This team finally get a break their way. An interception returned for a TD with 94 seconds to play leads this team out of the quagmire and into a playoff spot. I was waiting for ed hochuli's flag to be thrown for defensive pass interference on the play, but the ducks dodged a bullet. They beat a good warlords team, and with the bulk of their tough games behind them, they look to cruise into the playoffs. They still have to face off against the Mamas and NACJAC, but luckily in this league, and in the NFC West, 6 losses still = playoff berth. Nothing to fear, here.

8(7) Manila Warlords (5-2)- A heartbreaking loss to the Ducks moves the Warlords to the playoff bubble. This loss unfortunately confirmed for me what I had feared all along, and that's the fact that the Warlords just aren't quite ready for a championship push. The playoffs change everything, so i'm not counting them out. But they have got to beat a good team before they get my vote of confidence. Combined record of opponents in wins: 8-27. Combined record of opponents in losses: 9-5. NACJAC is up next. Lets see if the Warlords can pull the upset out of their tricksy helmets.

9(8) Port Moresby Titans (2-5)- This team is placed ahead of #10 due to a head to head victory over the #10 team, and a much harder strength of schedule. If they want to make a playoff push, they must start now with the red warriors in town. Can they stifle the monstrous two-headed running attack and upset the highly touted warriors at home?

10(9) Metro Heroes (3-4)- How's this for making a statement. Go on the road, and beat the newcomers from AAA, the pandas, on their own turf. Do I think it will happen? No. Would it be extreme cheddar? Sure.

Games of the Week:
NACJAC vs. Manila Warlords
Hong Kong Highlanders vs. Bangkok Tweetys

Funny Quote of the Week:
Walter: What the fuck are you talking about? The chinaman is not the issue here, Dude. I'm talking about drawing a line in the sand, Dude. Across this line, you DO NOT... Also, Dude, chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature. Asian-American, please.
The Dude: Walter, this isn't a guy who built the railroads here. This is a guy...
Walter: What the fuck are you...?
The Dude: Walter, he peed on my rug!
Donny: He peed on the Dude's rug.
Walter: Donny you're out of your element! Dude, the Chinaman is not the issue here!
