I was gonna go powerback but now they are kinda meh and it looks like elusive backs are better so I'm trying to decide what to do. Level 10ish HB with a lot of SP built up and can't decide what direction to go.

I still think powerbacks are better but elusive backs are good too. I have both.
Agility is an important stat but not so much as speed IMO
I have both agility and speed gear and have switched throughout the course of this game. Agility has always placed second when swapping gear. However my agility is higher than my speed on my back but I wish it was the other way around.

+1 Get that speed pumped early, the agility can be improved later. Check my thread about build strategy and why i am not focusing SP on agility until later on in the career.

BTW, my HB build is open since he is on a CPU team and i want to share the strategy. But, I had my HB reach level 7 before I signed him to a CPU team. So i had lots of cheap training time before he started to really level up fast.

Whoa. I wonder if there's a link between your uber high vision and the 3 TDs.

I agree... you will see the best improvement if you do speed first... You will still suck but you might break a big one. Try pointing a few in carrying as well

They both have their positives.... Power can run people over and Elusive jukes people out of their shoes. I looked at it this way (my back is combo btw has a mixture of high str agi and speed all either at or past the second cap) You can have a back that will make the hole for you so you aren't completely dependent on your o-line or you can have a back that is going to speed around and juke to make defenders miss but needs some decent o-line blocking... just my 2 cents
