While it seems that it's intended use would be for coverage, it also seems like you would get the most benefit out of the SA in run defense... since the ball carrier would be far away from you from the longest period of time. I'm trying to decide if it's worth investing heavy points into eventually, or if I'm best off spending most of my points in Super Vision and my regular attributes.

closing speed is huge. i could give you a vast amount of plays in which my SS had gotten a tackle on run defense because he got there before the LBs did. it also helps on pitch plays and short passes such as this:

i strongly recommend throwing tons of points into change direction, super vision, and then of course closing speed

So, Should I increase it on my SS. He has only 1 in it right now.

It's pretty darn important. I don't think it's as good as Superior Vision, but it's right up there.
