I think confidence has something to do with it. Everyone has underestimated it...thus not having confidence over 20.

Bort probably noticed that and made it more demoralizing for a HB to get hit hard, that their chance for fumbling goes up as they get tackled by hard hitters.

Solution:

Have a good rotation of your HBs (energy 90-91) that way the "big hits" are spread out between the both of them. That prevents one HB from turning into a total WUSS by the second quarter.

Thats my opinion. If Confidence was not that important, it would not be an attribute. Bort hates slow builds, so he is making it harder for them to be consistent. How many recent HBs made (since mid season 2 and up) add ANY points into confidence...not many. Everyone pumps speed and/or agility/strength.

Confidence is the most underrated atribute in GLB.

My confidence is near 31... but I think it does have to do with the rotation of backs. Otherwise I have no clue what the problem is.

Would you think 31 is good enough? Thats not even a soft cap.

If confdence was implemented more this season, it would make it harder to create a dominant HB by level 16...like you can do now.

Every HB sees contact on every carry that isn't a TD, not to mention you risk being blown up on a pass block. I don't know of a better argument for strength.

True. I think that carrying helps to not fumble the first time, then after that the morale goes down and down, making it more likely to fumble the second...and more the third time etc.

So confidence may come in handy to prevent multiple fumbles per game.

I heard that confidence will help in when you get TFL'ed too, or if you drop a pass. Not sure if its true though.

I have the same problem... soft capped both strength and carry and still have alot of fumbles

Chalk up another fumble/fumble lost...
