My team gets burned by this type of run over and over and over...5 yards...8 yards...11 yards...how do I stop it? Any ideas?

Here's the type of plays:

That's really constructive. Are you old enough to even know what that word really means?

You...and guys like you...need to take a break. You're ruining these forums for people who are serious about improving their game.

Well I'm kinda new at DC, but if they are only going 2 Wide with a TE, I would blitz some LBs, especially if you have confidence in your CBs and Safetys.

Cover 1, Man. Run Focus. Strong Shift. Blitz MLB and either SS or LOLB. (Whoever doesn't blitz will cover the TE on the passing plays out of that formation)

I'm aware and experienced in various meanings of the word.

I was serious. He's Level 25 with a 45 Pass Rushing bar. He's not nearly strong or agile enough to stand up and plug running lanes. He's getting driven on his ass by the ROT.

However, you should at least strongside shift the LBs. Run or Balanced focus depends on their builds - Run brings them in and makes them quicker to get blocked by O-linemen.

Then I apologize.

He's actually our backup DE. Our starter is quite an improvement over that but we still get run on inside more than we should when our starter is in the game.

We're trying to figure out the type of Tactics we can use that offers us the best chance to keep this from happening.

Thanks for your input.

LOL I had this exact issue and just posted, glad to see i'm not the only one that is getting gashed by this play every single time.

What formation is that considered?

Inside runs have big trouble against the 3-4. (If you have the players to run it.)
