I have found shed block to be completely useless for my lolb. Although my lb is avoiding TE and RG blocks much better this season. I attribute it to better pursuit routes which I know Bort has tweaked.
Some on this forum would disagree with me. I believe a lolb has to be balanced. I would get your strength and tackling to 40 ish at a minimum. You have plenty of speed. You need to get jumping to 30 and invest in diving tackle. Remember you will be covering the TE a lot. If opposing TE's are catching the ball for 1st downs or > 8 yards then you arent doing your job.
My guy still gets hung up on blockers way too much IMO and I have much higher STR as well as several points in the shed block SA. I think the code is just not good when it comes to the blocking/shed blocking equation. As long as I see my guy get stuck on a block sometimes, the TE has got to be holding.
Good build for a LOLB. Watch PBPs. With low STR, your LOLB could be getting pancaked. Getting it to 40 is not a bad move. Shed block works well for me.
