Warrior General Games

Playing in the East I tend to pay no attention to the West until after game 15 when the single inter-conference game comes up. So since I don't know how close things have been in the past (and obviously KC completely screwed up the average for the West last season) I just looked at what I am familiar with when compiling data.

Week 1 avg margin of victory: 57.5 points
Week 2 avg margin of victory: 58 points
Week 3 avg margin of victory: 50.75 points

After 16 games only 3 games have been closer than 14 points. The Ocho appears to be falling apart and while I hate to see some of our rivalries go away (We here at the Bandits busted our asses revamping our AI specifically for Maryland after they knocked us out of the the playoffs last season and we have looked forward to Huntsville every season) I think it is pretty clear the current system is broken and a league re-alignment might not be a bad idea.

Yep seems like the bottom teams are getting farther away from the teams on the top and now with Paper Street firesaling it's going to be another blow out on the schedule. The rivalrys will dwindle each year as a 0-16/1-15 team come down and a top team goes up but I'm hoping they go with the polls even though BBB#8 has been great the last couple years.

If realignment comes next season, and I think it will, I hope they try to keep the better league teams together. Maybe take the top teams in BBB#8 and combine them with the top teams in #& or 6 or both. Let the gutted teams fall to the D-League or whatever.

you could probably take the top teams from the east & west & combine them to make a division in a new league, that way you keep rivalries & some of the league chemistry.

not to offend anyone but it seems like this league competition is dying.
