Then you create the issue of over population with free agents and players not being able to find teams. Not a smart move for a game that keeps increasing it's agent base each week.

see you guys create that problem for yourselves by allowing people to create as many characters as they want. so you see people buying tons of flex points and filling out their roster with their own players instead of going out their and getting individuals to form a community. i guess thats what you guys want, but just look at our conference. its a mess. you guys need to limit the amount of players on an account for realzzy. 2. each account holder should only either be a team owner or a GM of one team. these sister teams are also killing us.

How 'bout an escalating scale...each player cost the owner more FP to create. That way bort can still pay for his kids shoes and the average guy would stick with a reasonable amount of players.

I have nothing against Pariah, but he took a team that had a chance to beat mine, and replaced it with a team that will never be an issue for us...And this is happening all over the place. I figure I'll give this a go as long as the game holds my attention, but when the 229 point games get old, most of us will probably bail out.

Not a bad idea, but to build on that to not discourage owners from making players for other teams:

Limit the owner to say 5 "free" spots for his own team. Then the 6th costs 10 FP, the 7th 20 FP, etc.

That way you can still create players for friends' teams or just create them to play wherever without incurring extra FP charges.

I think PD has a point about putting a cap on how many players each account can have at any given time. I think it would help the community, teams and the Free Market here, but I do not think that limit should be 2 players per account, something like 8 or 10 would be more reasonable. Nothing against guys who do have 20+ players, nothing at all, but maybe if they are going to allow that, they should limit the number of players an account can have on one single team (which has already been mentioned). So if a guy did have 20 players he would have to spread them out over at least 6 teams, perhaps only allowing 3-4 of his players to be on the same team or something.

I doubt any of that would ever happen because it would cost the game money, and we all gotta make a buck, but perhaps something like what Maxnsam said about it increasing the cost of players after say 5 would help...or maybe not. Some people are just going to spend their money the way they want regardless, it is their right after all.

Hey come on!!! I am only losing to the good teams at about 100-0 now!

And one of the issues with my team was: A few of the core guys were leaving when the season was over, they wanted to come on board to make a run at the championship. Added to my personal situation - and the risk of hurting my team in the long run, we made the decision to move on.

See, when we lost to TMW, there was no accusation of cheating. There was a person who fed a couple of my GMs and myself information that the "mole" was simply just sharing information about our tactics with TMW. Whether that is true or false I will never know.

I think TMW was a better team at the time, that is where the releasing of the "mole" came in. Flames came aboard to bring in some high profile players to give us the bump we needed to get to that "championship" level. But in order to do so, we decided we couldn't risk anyone sharing any information - and we decided that the "mole" just didn't fit the direction we were going in, and there were a few other reasons. So goodbye "mole."

After we got trounced by Freemont, we were set to be bringing in 4 more high level players that were coming from a couple of Pro teams, I was presented with the opportunity to bring in these players for 1 season and go for the championship. At this time I had the issues I have spoken about. I felt that the best thing was to let my players go to a team of their choosing and rebuild for the long-haul, not for one season.

I did not want to release and rebuild the team, it was a tough decision and it was made after discussing this with all my players.

BUT, now with the relegation possibility, I do hope this happens and the leagues get realigned correctly and I can win my championship next season.

OK I am done talking about the "mole" incident. I have explained the event in full from my part. Say what you will - (and I know some will still rag on me, but that is expected ). I did what me and the majority of my team decided was best. Every member of the team will stand behind me, and if you don't think so - then look at the team I GM, the Chaos Lords - 90% of all my owners came back and joined that team with multiple players. I guess I am not too bad of an owner!

I hear you Pariah, this game is a speck on a fly's ass when compared to real life, so I certainly don't blame you for your decision. It just seems to be happening a lot.
