I have a successful DE, and am on a couple of teams with other guys who do even better. My DE has 55ish of both speed and agility naturally , and all equipment (up to 24) in agility. I also have 11 in shed block and TV. Led our league in sacks last year, and started off with 7 this season against a guy I had 5 levels on. Not really indicative of all the oponents I will be facing, but not a gut job or CPU. The other teams I am on the DE's all don't even have as many SA's as you, but one has 75ish of both agility and speed, with his equipment split between the two, and one has 85ish speed and 60ish agility with obviously all equipment in speed. Both had huge games, but against even worse OT's than my DE.
I personally like my shed block + TV build, since it seems to work at least decently against any build/level of OT, with the possible exception of really high almost pure blocking guys. Strength guys I go around like the speed guys do, speed guys I shed blocks, and then TV kicks in.
So I wouldn't say definitely no more SA's. My build works just fine, and I'm pretty sure from watching a few games of dontmesswithme's guys that he has very high shed block also, and he is one of the preeminant pass rushers in the game. But yes, the prevailing logic is just load up on speed or speed and agility, and that works well too... For now, until those OT's get sick of being beaten like a drum and get involved in the speed/agility arms race. Hopefully they do that and my DE will prosper even more. Or they could go high blocking to stop the few of us with this build, and get beaten by the majority of guys with high speed. I would guess that is why Lawrence Jacksons build hasn't been shared at all, and dontmess doesn't give too much concrete info out.
For your specefic DE, you need to figure out wht it is you want to do, then concentrate on doing that. Right now, you are spread out all over the map. 55 Strength isn't high enough to make a difference against these OT's, but it is high enough that you could have easily dropped 30 points elsewhere. Blocking and vision at 30 isn't high enough to make a difference, but is another 30 points you could have dropped elsewhere. That's 60 poinst that you could have used to concentrate on one area.
