It seemed as if every team that was poised to blowout a team gassed too early, thus leading the door open for other teams to catch up and win.
I disagree.

How is this supposed to be an example of a team that "was poised to blow out another one" and gassed too early? You might notice that we took the early lead, but by no means were we supposed to blow Lake Charles out, and even if it was a rout eventually did you notice how the scores came about? Hardly an example for anything.

Interesting that Antonio Cromartie took an interception to the house for the Chargers against the Jets last night too.

It was supposed to be a counter example of that.

Hence the "I disagree".

(Although I'll admit that out of the 4 counter examples I offered....I was reaching a bit with the LCWD one. They weren't necessarily poised to blow you guys out at 10-6.....but still....they also didn't gas out and lose the lead either.)

That was my point, if any team in that game "gassed out" it would have been us given the late scoring, but we were hardly poised to blow them out, nor were they poised to blow us out either.

Yea....like I said....I was reaching a bit with that one.

I think the Roughnecks game was the best example. We were poised to blow them out, and then instead of gassing out in the 4th and letting them catch up....we had our best quarter of the game (as far as points go).
