I have seen 0 results from him. He gets pushed around by lower level G easily and I can't figure our why:

Level 19:

Strength: 80.68 Blocking: 20.53
Speed: 25.65 Tackling: 26.03
Agility: 62.03 Throwing: 8
Jumping: 9 Catching: 8
Stamina: 22.4 Carrying: 8
Vision: 17.78 Kicking: 9
Confidence: 13.6 Punting: 9

4-7-1-1-1
0-0-0-0-0

If he doesn't start producing soon then I'm thinkin about just turnin him into a run stuffer.

yeah he is a brute but he had 0 form. Vision on linemen helps you with technique, breaking through the line, and finding the ball. Confidence is also huge. Say you get pancaked on the first drive, your morale will drop alot until about half time, amd if it happens again your screwed for the game. Same thing happened to my DE

And where has Bort said vision helps with pass rushing technique for a DT?

This forum contains many threads speaking on the benefits of vision. I noticed all of my stat bars increased when I pushed my vision into the low to mid 30's. That was the only ability I added SP to during that level up.

Your strength and Agility look good. Tackling could use a little assistance. Just keep in mind that DT's the majority of the time will not put up stellar stats, but if you manage to occupy a blockers letting a LB slip in, thats a success.

Vision - Did you see that hole open to the left? Can you see the goalposts? Vision helps ALL players know what is going on around them. It is very important for QBs "threading the needle" with passes. It's also sort of the "6th sense" of predicting what your opponent is going to do when blocking or trying to break blocks. It also plays a role in avoiding penalties like false start and offsides.

Its in the newbie guide, so if you want to disregard it, go ahead.

not sure I agree on Vision, my level 24 DT has vision below 25 and had 72 tackles, 17 hurries, and 5 sacks last year. He has 10 Tackles, 3 hurries and a sack in preseason, and the sack was against a level 24 Guard today.

hurrys + more speed = sack lol , i agree on pumping up speed , allong with vision and confidence , but just put ur guy on wrap up while not upping tackling till the others are higher

But I don't even get hurries. If you watch some replays from this preseason I get pushed around easily and it's pretty ridiculous that I can't get off a block.
