I jsut want to say that I have been posting a lot in this forum for the past two days, and I am new to the forum (never knew this existed). I am not trying to say I know everything, I just like talking about building FBs.

After seeing everyone's build who shares it, i am thinking i am the weakest FB in GLB. But as i get my speed up, I will be swapping equip to strength (most of my equip is lvl 16, so it not that expensive).

So don;t think i am trying to be mr know it all. i am just saying what i have done, and what a teammate of mine has done and it has worked well.

I know how epople don't like newbies coming in and thinking they know everything. i just don't have a lot of players in this game and my FB is my favorite.

its always nice to have somebody else on the fb board. from what ive seen you know a good amount about fb's and you seem cool. Welcome man.

and just curious but what is your strngth/speed?

57 str (with equip)
41 speed (with equip, 34 without)

Our backup has 33 speed and he had more yards than me. He has the same strength and agility, less vision, carrying and confidence. But he has 2 more in power thru and 1 more in QC. He had 76 broken tackles and i had only 30 something i think. This was in an AA league that has been around since season 1.

Its not the best build because I started season one and was very balanced with my points until i hit about level 19. Then i went for soft caps.

These are some highlights of the backup FB and we have near identical builds. He only has 33 speed.

I am thinking that he is a better runner because he is slower, and thus its like he has better vision to wait for his blocks...then again he has an ungodly amount of broken tackles. that always helps get extra yards.

Its just hard to swallow because he doesn't boost or have full custom equip. But i don't mind if he has a 14.5 yard per carry average in a game..it helps us win.

power through is what is breaking so many tackles for him.

our team is still on the "Don't go for too many SAs" trip. But i think that is for guys who are level 11 and have 4 SAs in the 7s.

I think in another lvl or 2 thats all im going to buy is SA's. Its to the point of almost being more cost efficient just to buy Sa's for me.

^^ exactly. If a coding perspective, i am thinking that the SAs increase your attributes b a certain percentage...so the higher the SA the higher the percentage boost is.

But there has to be a point where it really plateaus...like training something that is soft capped.

Yeah, I was a FB when i played intramural football (full pads). He is my favorite player. Its hard to make a FB that is a blocker and a runner. My goal is to have a 500 yard rushing FB with about a 6YPC average and about 70 broken tackles in a season.
