+1, This is a must have! I would love this and I would like an invite to the PF

Hey guys, rather than creating more work and diluting the product, read this, and breathe new life back into the GLB leagues!

It makes sense to me, rather than starting something else new, when we have problems enough already...

Somebody please try and understand the weakness with the GLB poduct at the moment. Otherwise, why would yu be even thinking of having fun doing something else with the same SIM when you can increase your enjoyment by trying to help 'improve' the product...

Criticism isn't meant to be negative, it is so something can be seen to be flawed and to take the 'criticism' positively to help something improve...

It's not failure, it's feed back.

I'd prefer Bort not to divert resources away from main product, until;

1) 90% (or even 80%) of the consumer base is 'happy' with GLB

2) The Beta tag is taken off GLB

3) Something is done with GLB so as to make it less likely that 'splinter' ideas like this, aren't necessary UNTIL the main product is fixed, sorry improved...

I'm only trying to be positive here. I was just curious why this has 99 pages (ATT)

So please, go make GLB-IML somewhere else for now...

Maybe so, but the suggestions forum is meant to be constructive, not necessarily critical.

I agree with you on the thoughts behind the idea you posted. However, this is not the place to post them. This thread is for discussing the Iron Man League, not the problems with GLB. That's why you created your thread amiright?

It is... and you are absolutely correct, and for that I apologise, and know that it is not the 'correct' way to use the forums (and I'm not being funny here, I'm very serious) Unfortunately, I thought as this thread is actually going to do what I suggested in my initial post here I.e. Divert resource, craete a new splinter leaue and delay GLB becoming a non-beta game; I wanted to draw attention to, well in my mind anyway, a better easier more workable and more playable solution. As per my thread...

If you want an Ironman League, fair enough and I would support that....IF it was a separate product and completely different to the main GLB SIM engine.

A suggestions forum, by it's own inferment, would promote both constructive views and then be criticised (in the true sense of the word) for the suggestions merits or failings; is that not so?

Nah, you're good. My bad for being a little anal about it lol. I'm excited about this idea. It would be a big addition, but not as hard as some would think. I just wasn't happy when you popped in and basically said "we don't need this".

Not a problem VW, and you're right I shouldn't 'hijack' threads, but I'm sticking to what I said... Good luck with getting this thru tho. Just please be sure to get it running on a separate server with it's own dedicated team... And leave GLB alone hehe

wow there is almost 100 pages for this. This is one of my favorite suggestions and the one I am looking most forward too when they put it in. (Whenever that may be.)
