agreed, they get shafted pretty hard.... although i can't complain about other teams' punters not getting enough XP

3 punts = maximum XP I believe. He should almost make it so punters get 100 XP no matter what. Not punting is usually a good sign.

No. There have been games this season where a punter got 4 punts and had less than 50XP. I know I'll likely retire my punter if something isn't done about this.

From what I've found...
5 punts = 40% max XP
6 punts = 100% max XP

Yes, the punter's role is shit. Guess that's why so many really good teams have punters that are usually 4-5 levels lower than the rest of the team.

All of this could be solved if the punter was just coded into the XP & field goals as being on the field as the placeholder. You might have a team that punts once or twice a game, but kicks 5-6 XPs or field goals. Problem solved!

Sadly, Bort is too busy catering to the people complaining about resetting VPs and power backs being too powerful for their 40 STR LBs to tackle to do anything about it. There's a handful of very simple upgrades that would greatly help the game that've been ignored in favor of constant AI changes.

No one would complain about this change, so it has NO chance of happening.

Circle gets the square. There's a thread in the suggestion forum, but I'm sure it'll get buried underneath a bunch of riff raff.

Oh I know. We've got a natural rivalry, not only from the Shockers/Maulers battles over the years, but also because I'm a Bears fan and you're a Fudge Packer.

Well, let's hope that our pretend teams do better this season the the real ones did. I'm afraid neither of us have any right to talk smack after this past season. I was actually hoping we'd lose that last game to the lions, to better our draft pick. Hell, we even failed at that.

I'm with you on that. The Bears pick 18th this year. I'm sure our front office wizards will spend it on something like another CB or LB instead of fixing an OL that's been junk for years.

GG Cincy, we just could never get anything going on offense, your defense played great. Back to the drawing board (again).

Play of the game right here, if we don't turn it over, who knows what happens:

You guys moved the ball pretty decently in the 2nd and 3rd quarters and stopped us cold on 1st & goal from inside the 5 TWICE! But that 1st quarter was murder. That's probably the best quarter of defensive dotball we've played.

You guys have a good squad. Who knows...we might meet again in Landry's Tournament.
